Stats reveal out-of-sorts Bakayoko far better than in-form Matic

Tiemoue Bakayoko is failing to match the levels he enjoyed for Monaco since arriving at Chelsea. While at Manchester United, former Blue Nemanja Matic has earned rave reviews since being reunited with Jose Mourinho in the summer.
The midfielders go head-to-head this weekend as Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on Sunday. However, despite their contrasting starts to the season, new data released by Oulala.com in fact reveals that the in-form Nemanja Matic still falls well short of the out-of-sorts Tiemoue Bakayoko according to statistics.
Former Man United player Phil Neville shared his thoughts on Bakayoko following Chelsea's 3-0 defeat to Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
On BBC Radio 5 Live, Neville said “I still haven't worked out Tiemoue Bakayoko. Since he has come to the Premier League, I haven't seen the player he was at Monaco. I have not seen the types of quality he was showing. He was the box-to-box powerhouse you thought he would bring to this team", adding "He looks at 50 per cent".

Neville continued with comments regarding Chelsea's sale of Nemanja Matic to Man United calling for heads to roll. The pundit remarked "Whoever made that decision needs sacking. That is one of the poorest decisions I have ever seen in the Premier League".
Neville has clearly made trolling Chelsea's sale of Matic to United his number one priority this season. His views on Tuesday night followed swipes at the Premier League champions on Twitter after the Serbian's opening two performances for his new club with both Tweets reading 'Thank u Chelsea for matic wonderful gesture'.
While grammar has never been Neville's strong point, it appears punditry isn't either as statistics clearly show that a "50 per cent" Tiemoue Bakayoko is performing far better than the player he is thanking Chelsea for selling to United, Nemanja Matic.

Of the nine key stats analysed, Matic has bettered Bakayoko in just two, pass completion and interceptions in the Premier League. Of the remaining seven, Bakayoko has been superior in six; goals, assists, key passes, dribbles, tackles and clearances.
If this is Bakayoko at 50 per cent, at 100 per cent and alongside last season's Player of the Year, N'Golo Kante in the heart of midfield, Chelsea definitely won't miss Nemanja Matic!
Watch this space, Phil...
