Christian Eriksen vs Mohamed Salah: Who should be in your fantasy football team?

Stat Attack | Posted on by
Ahead of Liverpool's trip to Wembley to face Tottenham on Sunday, daily fantasy football game Oulala.com have focused their attention on two of the Premier League's most in-form players this season, Christian Eriksen and Mohamed Salah, to see how the pair measure up statistically.
Barcelona sent their sporting director Robert Fernandez to watch Christian Eriksen as Tottenham held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabau in the Champions League on Tuesday night with the Dane a long-term target for the Spanish giants.
While in Slovenia on the same night, Mohamed Salah grabbed a brace as Liverpool put seven past Maribor in a 7-0 thrashing in Europe's elite club competion.
The duo will go head-to-head this weekend so we've taken a look at how they compare statistically this season to reveal which player has the greater points potential and should feature in your fantasy football team.
Eriksen leads in a number of key areas in the Premier League; boasting a better pass completion (85% to 76%), more passes (58 to 25) and key passes (2.4 to 1.3) per game, as well as two assists to Salah's one.

However Salah fights back in other areas. The 25-year-old has completed more successful dribbles (2.3 to 0.8) and registered more shots (3.5 to 3) per game, while also scoring a goal more in the Premier League this season (4 to 3).
Although it's difficult to separate them, one important stat manages to do that. Eriksen and Salah have both played a part in five league goals for their clubs this season, however the Liverpool winger has taken fewer minutes to do so. Salah's goal involvement average of 119 minutes is 14 minutes less than Eriksen's 133, clear evidence that the Egyptian has a slight edge over the Spurs man going into this weekend's clash.

With the pair enjoying excellent starts to the Premier League campaign, Eriksen and Salah are likely to play a significant role in the match. It may be wise to include both players in your Oulala.com fantasy football team on Sunday...
